Markus Brunner is Associate Partner of Boyden Global Executive Search based in Zurich. His expertise lies in national and multinational executive search mandates in a whole range of industries and functions with a special focus on Manufacturing, Retail and Services. Markus is regularly involved in management appraisals and in sales management reorganisations.

Before joining Boyden, Markus held senior positions with two leading search companies in Switzerland. He was responsible Vice President for the executive search activities in Switzerland and before that he was participating in the vast expansion of another international search firm.

Before entering the search business, Markus worked for two decades with Swissair. There he had various management positions in Switzerland and as an Expatriate in the US, Africa and the Middle East. His activities where mainly focused on Sales and Marketing responsibilities in the function of Country or Sales Manager as well as operational tasks in the role of a Station Manager.

Markus gained his commercial diploma at Swissair and took several additional educations throughout his career. He holds a Degree in Sales Management and a General Management degree from the University of Zurich.
