After her commercial apprenticeship, Nicole gained valuable experience working with luxury/four-star hotels, and in an SME. During this time she worked in the front office in a luxury hotel in Davos, Switzerland, starting as a receptionist, then appointed an assistant front office manager and later was named Front Office Manager. She then moved to Lucerne where she worked at another fine hotel, where, leading a team of ten employees, she was responsible for the front office, guest relations, revenue management, and the reservation department.

Nicole transitioned to the IT industry and took the role of head of user relations/office manager for an Internet comparison company in Zürich.
